These holograms are created by recording a wave interference pattern from a coherent light source (laser light) into a light sensitive emulsion of ammonium dichromate. They allow us to see light frozen in time, representing the object without physical form. These works were made from simple found objects that trap light, so that we can reflect less on tangible matter and more on light reconstructed and transfixed in space.
